Hi there.
I've just started using SSRS with SQL Server 2008. I've developed a report that I want to deploy to the report server but it says I have insufficient privileges.
I CAN browse the URL
http://
But I CAN'T browse the URL
http://
Where do I need to give myself privileges. I have owner permissions on the ReportServer databases as well as my datasource.
Also, my reporting services configuration is as follows;
Service Account - Local System
Report Server Database - Service Account (Local Service)
So where am I going wrong. Please help.
Cheers,
Dave

Have you tried creating a domain account (if using a domain). This account will need AD permission to browse the AD users/groups.
To change the account details use the "Reporting Service Configuration Tool" within the Program Menu | Microsoft SQL Server 200x | Configuration Tools.

Report Builder is a Click once application and its possible that it is using your IIS settings (check your proxy settings)
Also, check IIS Admin to see if you have anonymous access (see attached)

What worked for me was:
Go to Site Setting
Click on "Configure site-wide security"
Click "New Role Assisgment" button in top bar
Give the new role the following name "Everyone"
Of teh available roles, grant it "System User" only
Click "Apply"
That should do it,
Good luck!
