No, sadly it's the 32-bit version of 2005 SP3. ("can't always get what you want, but you can always get what you need" - Mick Jagger)
Min/Max memory at 26,624. /PAE and AWE

Ouch, that's brutal, they give you all that hardware and then cripple you (ok, not cripple but kinda ruin the fun a bit)
How many distribution agents are running on the server? How many connections into SQL? What is the size of the pagefile? Lock pages is enabled? How many more questions can I get in a single line?

No agents, using a remote distributor as all Push. Currently only a dozen connections mostly for Repl.
14-4Gb pagefiles = 56Gb total. About 27Gb currently in use. Lock pages not enabled.
Stepping away for lunch soon so I'll reply afterwards - though I'm still interested in your thoughts. Thank you very much!

Set lock pages in memory and see if that makes a difference as regards the paging.

Thanks for the answers.

Okay, I'll play with it and reply in a few days after the dust settles. After some more thought, I must admit pagefile usage does seem unjustly high for such a light workload. I'll try to figure what it all is actually being used for -- makes me wonder what would happen if the box really had a full workload.
Thanks again for your time, Nick.
