Hello,
Our current SQL Server installation (SQL Server 2005 64bit SP2) was installed without SSRS; recently there was a request to add the SSRS part to the server so that the developers can report from it.
Is there anything I should be aware of before doing the installation?
The SQL Server also has another instance configured on it, when I install SSRS, does it apply to both of the SQL instances or will i be able to chose?
I have found MS Documentation that runs through a how-to on adding the SSRS component through Add/Remove Programs, but wanted to ask the experts here before I go through the process.

Thanks for your input.

Nop, go ahead with installation.

You will be able to choose the server on which you like to install sql server 2005 reporting service databases.
I have found MS Documentation that runs through a how-to on adding the SSRS component through Add/Remove Programs, but wanted to ask the experts here before I go through the process.

Thanks for your input.
Also have a look at following artical which explains how to configure reporting services.

Hope this helps!
