Hi folks
I am having problems installing the SSIS component of SQL 2005 on one of our test servers which currently runs SQL 2000. I keep running into failures in the Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components components and as a result SSIS does not install. Has anyone experienced this sort of issue? Thanks!
Error log says it can't find the required files. I am installing it from the SQL 2005 source files which I've copied locally.
Error String : Setup cannot find the required files. Check your connection to the network, or CD-ROM drive. For other potential solutions to this problem, see C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\1033\SETUP.CHM.

you have to search, but i think there was a known bug where you have to remove the office 2003 web components and maybe something else to get it to install

Yep, looks as though i had to just uninstall the office web components and then the install worked. Cheers.
