This is the last hope and try. Appreciate any help.
I am trying to install Reporting Services Evaluation Edition on a Windows XP Pro w/SP2, IIS 5.1, .NET Framework 1.1, VS.NET 2003.
The SQL Server 2000 w/SP3a is on a different machine (Windows 2000 Server w/SP4)
Tried installing it locally on the SQL Server machine also which has IIS, .NET etc.
I get the following error during the installation process:"SQL Setup failed to execute a command for server configuration. The error was: Database 'ReportServer' does not exist. Check sysdatabases.Refer to the Server error logs and setup logs for detailed error information. On clicking "OK", I get a general error message: "Error Code: 1603"
I am logged in with a domain account having administrative rights. The database server is also accessible with this account and has administrative privileges.
PLEEEEASE HELP!!! Thanks in advance.
