I am trying to upgrade SQL 2005 to SP4 from SP2. Few SQL components were successful. version numbers are below
Products Detected Language Level Patch Level Platform Edition
Setup Support Files ENU 9.4.5000 x86
Reporting Services (MSSQLSERVER) ENU SP2 9.00.3282.00 x86 ENTERPRISE
SQL Server Native Client ENU 9.00.5000.00 x86
Client Components ENU SP2 9.2.3282 x86 ENTERPRISE
SQLXML4 ENU 9.00.5000.00 x86
Backward Compatibility ENU 8.05.2312 x86
I am trying to upgrade report server and reportserver database is residing on another SQL instance which is again on SQL 2005 SP2.
During installation i found errors and Issues related to missing installation files which now have already been resolved.
Then i tried with another run and it failed again. After reading few blogs and technet articles, i have changed few registry settings to enable uninstallation of SP2 but of no use as upgrade process is now failing somewhere else.
I have attached installation logs for your reference. Any help is appreciated as i am finding myself stuck.
