Hi Guys,
I am getting an error while trying to install SQL server 2012 STD on a Windows 8 PC.
Error 1935. An error occurred during installation of assembly
"Microsoft.VC90.OpenMP,version="9.0.30729.4974",publicKeyToken".........
Can anyone maybe tell me what this error is about?

Yeah nothing works. I have also installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86 and x86 SP1 and then x64 and x64 SP1 and I still get the same error. I don't understand the error at all, and I can't find anything while googleing. If anyone has had this exact error I would greatly appreciate your assistance.
