  If i have to install client tools on a machine to i have to have any liscense as i have enterprise edition on my server. and can i just download the client tools and install it or do i have to get the original cd (same installed on the server)?

  You do not need to purchase a license for installing the SQL tools on a workstation, nor are you required to use the original media.
