but as per my thoughts :-

1) unattended itself clearify the setup which left in between

2) to build 1000 server, you can restore the image of working server

when you saying 1000 server, you mean sql server or windows server.

both are different tasks and need different profile people. its upto which profile you interested in

You should follow the link I posted and read. Yes you can install multiple SQL Servers at once.
