Install SQL SP4 on Active / Active Cluster

    Hi, Ive done installation on an active/passive cluster before.Ive tried searching online for the steps of active/active cluster but all mostly lead to active/passive. Anyone out there done this before ?

    Also both my 1st and 2nd node have log shipping configured to our DR environment. Do I need to stop this before starting the upgrade ?

    Any websites or steps will be much appreciated .Thanks

    You don't want to have both nodes active when installing the service pack. Usually you would go to Active/Pasive, then remove the pasive node from the cluster.

    I would stick to this process http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958734 I know it's the 2008 notes, but it still applies.
