Install SQL Server 2005 SP3 in a cluster environment

  Hi,

  We have 2 node Active/Passive cluster setup. We have installed SQL Server 2005 on active node along with client components.

  On node 2, installed SQL Server client components again as the setup will NOT install client components in clustered setup on passive node.

  And now installed SP3 on Active node. Then do we need to install the SP3 for the client components on passive node, node2??

  Since you have already installed Client Tools on the Passive node, you need not do it again.
