Install SQL 2008 R2 sp1 never go through

    I try to install SQL 2008 R2 sp1 many times in different day but never go through.

    Checking log file but still do no know the reason.

    Someone can help me?

    Run the check compatibility option under Planning in the install wizard prior to running the installation... You might be missing .NET runtime libraries ...

    I did check but no luck.

    I installed sp2 successfully.

    Do I still need sp1? (still failed to install)
