Install SQL 2000 on a SQL 2005 server

    We have a sql 2005 EE installed on Win 2003 clustered environment. It is working fine with out any issues. We have a requirment install sql 2000 on the same server. Will it cause any issues to the sql 2005 environment if we installl new sql 2000 named instance? Please advise.

    Have done it in the past successfully without issue.

    Does it truly need to be SQL2K, or can it be a database on 2K5 in Compatability 80?
