inserting/updating ntext columns

    Hello,

    I'm testing inserting and updating ntext fields using regular insert/update queries, and it seems to work fine.

    Is that recommended?

    No, that is not the recommended way. That works fine as long as there is one page of data (less than 8k worth of data) but you can run into issues as the size increases.
