I need to do in place upgrade from SQL 2005 EE cluster?(OS Windows 2008 R2 ) to SQL 2012 EE cluster. Can anyone suggest me the procedure, pre and post steps.

I personally STRONGLY recommend to my clients that they avoid in-place upgrades, ESPECIALLY on clusters and ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY when skipping THREE versions. There's just sooo many ways and places things can go sideways, especially since you don't have experience with this stuff.

ok thank you all.
But the client needs inplace upgrade from SQL 2005 to SQL 2012 cluster. What would be the issues if we do inplace upgrade.
