I need help with Inplace upgrade, I am practicing Inplace upgrade(Developer Edition) on winXP+sp3.
While performing the upgade I am getting DTS package error. On checking the SQL upgrade advisor I got to see 2 errors related to DTS packages, the error says to move the DTS packages to MSDB database, however there are no DTS packages on SQL 2000 instance.
I simply installed SQL 2000 with sp4, there are no user DB, user/login or any job created on 2000. After restarting the machine I proceeded with 2005 upgrade & got the DTS package error.
I need to know if there are any specific steps which needs to be perform while doing inplace upgrade from SQL 2000 to 2005.
Please advice.
