Hi ,
Can some one please help me out here. I have a table with 60Million rows in it. The tables is broken up into 4 datafiles with in the same file group. I am trying to build the index(clustered) for the table and place the index in another datafile with in another file group. However on completion of the index it seems that all the data has been moved to the same datafile and file group as the index...can someone please shead some light on this for me.

That is what it is supposed to do. !!

CLUSTERED
Creates an object where the physical order of rows is the same as the indexed order of the rows, and the bottom (leaf) level of the clustered index contains the actual data rows. ...
