Hi, we have a 32 bit SQL 2005 cluster running on Windows 2003 cluster. Right now it has 24 GB allocated to SQL, 8 GB to OS. It has the PAE switch enabled and AWE enabled.
Right now, apparently we need to add more memory. This is inevitable due to certain.. well I guess I'll leave it at that..
That said, the plan is to add 32 GB to both nodes of the cluster.
My question is - After server admin completes adding memory, reboots, failover and all - From SQL perspective, is it enough to just change memory setting (using sp_configure 'max server memory') or is there anything else to be done. Since PAE and AWE have already been implemented.

Setting max memory will do the job.
