HI all,
Iam trying to debug a code, we get some data from a foreign sql server using BCP. the problem is till now we used get using xp_cmd shell (BCP ran from ssms). But now as a part of our migration project we need to replace it, my prpblem is the query which the BCP(query out) uses isnt working in the actuall cmd. below is a snippet
Select Col1, Replace(Col2,' ',' ') From Table
I know the above query doesnt match the way you want (some data and query from ssms), but right know this what i have.
Thanks in advance.

There's not much we can offer here. Find a way to see what line of code is not compiling (SET FMTONLY ON might help).
Once you see that correct it and be on your way.

Not sure what you mean by not working but I suspect it is not producing the desired results? The replace statement is probably not doing what you think/expect.
Select Col1, Replace(Col2,' ',' ') From Table
You are replacing all single spaces with single spaces. 😉
