Incorrect syntax error in bcp command line job

  I'm importing a load of log files, with a fairly simple layout, few fields and some variances in what is missing compared to the destination sql table.

  Having debugged the command line and built a format file, I get the same error each time I try and run the bcp command.

  [Microsoft][ODBC SQL server drive][sql server]Line 1: incorrect syntax near '-'.

  Same error several times - I guess once for each field in the table.

  Why?

  Try to cleanup the log file with proper format before loading it with the BCP.
