People, I have an incomplete database backup file and I need to try restoring some tables from it. The file is 90% complete, so there are good chaces the data I need is inside this backup file.
Does anybody know how to do it? Does anybody know of any tool that ould help me with that?
I tried restoring the backup file and then updating the sysdatabases to take the database out of the "Loading" status with no success ...
Please, help me if you can...

LiteSpeed should help you do this. With version 4.5 of LiteSpeed you can restore individual tables out of a full backup file.
You can download this trial at http://www.quest.com/litespeed or if you wish you can send me an e-mail (jasonfhall@gmail.com) and I'll walk you through the process.
We've had good success in the past restoring incomplete and corrupted backup files and getting the majority of the table data back.
