Hi all,
When i try 'include the actual execution plan' in the query analyser, I get this error, please help.
The type initializer for 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.SqlMgmt.ShowPlan.XmlPlanNodeBuilder' threw an exception.
Cannot execute a program. The command being executed was "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\csc.exe" /noconfig /fullpaths @"C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxxxx\Local Settings\Temp\pmqcodzn.cmdline".
Please advice.
Thanks in advance

Sounds to me like your copy of Management Studio may be corrupted. I'd uninstall and reinstall and see if that fixes it.

.... "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\csc.exe" ...
Maybe you should first try to upgrade to SP2 including the latest cumulative update (CU8).
If the reinstall of SSMS doesn't help out ....
you may need to reinstall the dotnet framework
Chances are even that will give you an error.
I use dotnetfx_cleanup_tool to uninstall it.
Download it here: http://astebner.sts.winisp.net/Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
and then reinstall it.
