Heh... on something that large, I just drop the partition that has gone past the age limit. If I don't have the Enterprise edition, then I drop the "sub-table" I made and rebuild the partitioned view.

RBarry, it is ok to refer to your series of article on how to lose the cursors and just add the remark: If you cannot use these techniques to avoid them, I guess you would be allowed to use them.
