A friend of mine suggested that SQL Server 2008 can import Oracle DMP files directly. Can anyone verify this? I couldn't find any documentation on it from Microsoft's website--which sucks by the way. Thanks
I haven't heard this is true and can't find any confirmation, even with a Google search. I kind of doubt that SSIS could use a binary .dmp as a data source, but maybe your friend could give you some details. I'd like to hear more about it.
