Hi All,
I saw some weird behavior of Import/Export wizard in SQL Server 2008R2. I made a video of it please check the following link,

Rather than asking us to download some unknown .zip file from an unknown source from an unknown person; why don't you describe the weird behavior you're describing?

Hate to say it, but this is the Internet. No way I'm opening an unknown file from an unknown source. I seriously hope nobody is dumb enough to do that.
If this is a valid issue, please explain it. You can, if need be, put images in your post and show screen shots, instead of a video.

Hi All,
Not sure why you guys are getting offended to unzip a simple .avi file. Anyways i thought of instead of uploading series of screen shots or writing long story it would better to capture video and upload it. Ok, here comes the issue, when i open the Import/Export wizard by rt. click on the database->Tasks->Import Data. From flat file to SQL Server, it is getting imported successfully. But if i open Import/Export wizard through Run->dtswizard, and selecting appropriate Source (Flat File) & Destination (SQL Server 2008), the job is failing.
After several analyses/self investigation for the root cause of the issue, i found the answer to my problem. In first case it is getting successfully imported because it is opening the right Import/Export wizard. Where as in the second case when i typed "DTSWIZARD" in the "RUN", it is opening the Import/Export wizard (of 2005 which was not uninstalled/removed properly).
I believe, this forum is genuinely for the people who wants to share their experiences/knowledge so that everyone will get benefited out of it. Don't get everybody wrong just as you know everyone on this planet or at least you could have said even some polite manner.

Firstly, I'm glad you solved your issue.
Secondly, I don't think any of your responders were offended or impolite. There are just too many things (trojans, viruses, etc...) floating around the internet to open something from an unknown source. Obviously I do not know everyone on the planet (this is a fallacious argument called 'Reductio ad Absurdum'), but my point still stands. If you don't agree with me, I know a Nigerian prince who has a website offering you some money.
You are correct -- these forums are to help people. You easily can ignore my tiny contributions to these forums; but if you do not think GSquared hasn't helped hundreds/thousands of people here on SSC, then you don't visit particularly often.

This isn't about being polite. This is about doing something incredibly ignorant.
There are literally thousands of "basic security guidelines" websites out there, and every single one of them warns against opening files that you either get through e-mail/chat, or that you download from non-secured sites.
Why not download and open a zip file? Because it can contain viruses, trojans, spyware, etc. You say it's just a video, but do I personally know you? Can I verify that you are who you claim to be? Can I verify that the file was properly scanned and cleaned before it was posted? Can I verify that the file hasn't been tampered with in-transit?
No, to all four of those questions.
Honestly, if this is your reaction to simple security basics like this, I would suggest that you go out and learn a little bit about IT before you start doing any sort of work in the world of computers.
You can choose to be offended by this. It would be chilldish of you to do so, but it's certainly one of your options. Or you can wake up, realize that you need to seriously learn IT basics, including security, if you're going to use computers at all, much less in any sort of professional capacity.

To anyone reading this besides the original poster: Based on the above, I think it's safe to assume the posted zip file contains malware, and this is a phishing attempt aimed at, most likely, some form of botnet installation.
