But now, it's just going to grow again. And while it grows, it's going to cause other processes to slow down and wait for that file growth. You're only temporarily reclaiming the log space this way.

I find it quite interesting / funny / insane that despite the advice of sooo many people to NOT shrink the log file, that the OP insists on continuing to regularly shrink the log file.
