I have four 8-core processors and from what i have read, you should have one TempDB file for each core.
I have my TempDB on a 136GB RAID1, so i use all of it for the 33 TempDB files ?
32 TempDB data files
1 TempDB log file (what size should this be?)
Thanks

As for size - as large as it needs to be for the activity and usage of your database server.
