Hi all,
I have a package which is configured and scheduled in sql agent ..
Now i need to modify the package little bit ..how should i do it..
just check out the package and check in with the changes .....or do i need to configure again after i check in the package..
please help me this is urgent..

You open the package from its storage location. That could be in msdb or on the file system. It's just like any other open/edit/save you do, but in this case you need to use an SSIS editor, like BIDS.

I am sorry to ask you this as i never edited from MSDB..
I only know how to open from the source control or from the folder ...i don't know how to open from MSDB.
As i asked earlier do i need to configure again after i check in vault source..

I misunderstood your post .sorry for that...
I have opened the package from its storage location (in my case its source vault) from BIDS.and edited the package but,when i want to save a copy of my package in to the SSIS package store.I am getting access denied to the following server error and went to my superior and asked him to give an access unfortunately he is not a SSIS guy so he doesn't know how to do that but he has access to the SSIS server ..
Could anyone please tell me how to do that ,so that i can ask my superior to give me the access..
