I don't want too see the system databases...

    When I create an odbc connection to a SQL Server it shows me the database I want but with the system databases too, in the drop down list. This is also the case when you create a data source in SSRS. Anyone know why and a way of stopping this. thanks

    im pretty sure that it shows all databases you have access too. I guess if you dont want to see them, create a new user with access to your user databases and use that instead

    You create an user which has access only to the databases which you want and while creating the ODBC connection, use this user account. Hope this helps.
