Hi
How can you identify if a windows machine is running hyperthreaded processors ?

Go into task manager on the server.
Click performance tab
From menu select - View - CPU History - One for each cpu
This shows how many cpu are there.
You can then work out what is happening.

I would like to know how many physical processors are on the box. Task manager will only show the logical processor usage.

In general, I assume that if I see two graphs then I assume 4, as hyperthreading is et on as standard, howeverm I do see your point.

If not, I'm sure the infrastructure guys should have some software they can run on it for you to find out.
