Ohh I see, so I guess I'll build every function as an inline function now, seems to help a lot on performance, and I can finally see it in the execution plan, gosh I hated not being able to see what happened in the plan!
Don't worry about the multi product query, I'll be able to write it as inline now, and will probably take the vendorID as a parameter, or even make it to a SP. I will check when the time comes, but you have helped me tremendously understand how the inline works.
I couldn't see how I would ever make this big function to a unique query, and when I saw your first post, I knew you were going somewhere really interesting for me.
