How to use reporting services on a different web server

  • I have SQL 2005 Reporting Services Installed on Web Server A and it is running fine.

I would like to run a report on Web Server B, on a different box in the same network, using the ReportViewer Control.

My question is, what are the steps involved in getting this to work?

    I really appreciate the guidance.

    Thank you

  • Raunak, thanks for taking the time to reply.

I would like to access the reports on Server A from Server B.

I don't want to install an additional instance of SSRS.

    Thanks

  • If anyone can help I am still looking for instructions on how to do this.

    Thanks

  • Are you writing your own web front end with the report viewer control in it? If so, you set the report server url to your reporting services server (http://myservername/reportserver).
