  Hello,

  will u plz tell me how can we use businness intelligence in sql server 2005 bcause when i open BI and try to make new project thn there is no option for 'data tranformation project '. will u plz tell me how can i find ??

  and if possible thn tell me how can we put excel or anyother format data into my database .

  like in oracle we use sql loader .

  Data Transformation Services is called Integration Services in SQL 2005 so look for "Integration Services Project" in BIDS.

  SSIS is the the tool to use for importing data into SQL Server so you're on the right track.
