    On a more serious note, you need to be a little more specific ... What is it you're looking to do and why? What hardware are you running? What version of SQL are you running? 32bit, 64bit? Etc. etc. You need to give more details if you're expecting a good response.

    You don't need to use AWE in the x64 OS/SQL Server environment. You do need to be sure set the maximum amount of memory that SQL Server will use.
