Hi,
I am a B.E fresher July 2010 passout. I was very confused to choose between SQL Server DBA or Oracle DBA as per career choice.
But now I have decided to go for SQL Server DBA.... I am working in a company.... and working on some simple Monitoring project. I come to knew that after a month there willl be need of resource in SQL Server DBA team.
Please guide me what should I do so I can impress manager to get into that team....

Hi saga,
First,I am suggests you to get a good friend in your DBA team and keep touch with him.
Second install a SQL server developer edition to your computer and do it test yourself whatever you want with the online help. Read some of an experts blog and ask doubts to him(Your DBA).
Finally read/check the SSC daily and ask some questions and update your knowledge here.
