how to see "my forums"

  • I dont know if anyone here has been to the ASP.NET Forums. They have a "My Forums" link which will return all the threads a user had participated in. It makes it easier for me to see all the threads I posted/answered to see if the poster had solved his problem or needs more help ..etc I dont know if there is already a link somewhere here and if so can someoke please let me know where.

  • From the title bar have you tried My Account, My Recent Posts?  Hope this helps.  You can also 'watch' a topic by checking the box at the bottom when you post a reply.  An e-mail will be sent whenever subsequent posts are made to a forum that you are participating in.  Hope this helps.

  • Yes I saw that after posting here and playing around the site ( I am a little new around here as you can guess by my posts) but it doesnt seem to be quite like what I expected. It does give me my recent posts but I still have to go into the thread by clicking on the post to see if there was any development in the thread..

Also clicking on post reply always opens in a new window..And I am using AvantBrowser (tabbed browsers) so after I replied to a few posts I realized I have like 10 windows opened up.

Is there anyway the mods can fix this ? or if there is any logical explanation as to why replying to a thread opens in a new window ?

  • That's the way it is. You can't select your favorite fora. Before this forum package, Snitz was used here. And it might be just me, but Snitz was better and faster. Though it didn't have this fancy graphical thingy. Sigh!

  • May be you'all can use the Community Server forums that the ASP.NET site is using.
