how to see discarded job history

Hi All,
Is there any way to see discarded job history ? Because I am not able to see the history of my job due to "Max job history log size" which has been set to 10000(default). I can see that the job has run successfully from Job Activity Monitor.

You can increase the history for future job runs.
Maybe if you restored MSDB backups to a temporary database you could query the job history tables. They may still have older data before getting purged.
I have not tried it.

like homebrew stated, it's easy to change the limits on the history:
right clicking on SQL Agent and go to Properties (in SSMS Object Explorer)
find the history tab.
Personally, I'd prefer to see the entire history, but trim it if it is older than four weeks.

Yeah I know, I already changed it but i was trying to see the history which has been discarded. Thanks for your answers anyways.
