I am running select statment in a query analyzer to have estimated execution plan,how can I save it
there is no option to save it

Query Analyser as in SQL 2000? No way to save the plan if dealing with either Query Analyser of a SQL 2000 backend.

But if you're in 2005 or above you can right click on the plan and select "Save As"

That option is greyed out

Then you're probably running this against a 2000 database as Gail already pointed out. You can't do this with 2000.
