Hi i used
following link to enable forms authnetication method in my report server

but i got lot of erros ,so again i to just re-store the old
reportserver and report manager folders (configuration files)
but afer that i am getting this error ?
Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.
Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.
i cant type this http://localhost/reports/Pages/folder.aspx url it gives me always this error ?
i already restart the reportservice and i remove the directory security (annonomous access)
but still i am getting the same error ? now i dont knwo what should i do now ?
also i have reinstalled the sqlserver report server 2000 enterprice edition ! but still same error?
Problem is i cant view any .aspx web pages inside the reportserver and report manager folder ?
same error message say "Server Application Unavailable " ?
now i cant run the rsactivate -c command from the command promt ? it says
"Failure starting the web server
the report server web service has not generated a public key.the service may not have started successfully.check the log file for more information "
help me ! i am in a major problem ?

Check if your SQL Server Reporting Service is running on the services.msc. Check if you have the required Virtual Directories for your ReportServer and ReportManager on the IIS and that they are mapped to the correct directories. Also check the logs in your EventViewer and post what you find.

but still getting the same error !
How can i find out

i mean the physical path from my computer ?

Run eventvwr.msc and check if you are finding any errors on that with respect to your Reporting Server.

i have found the following erro from the security log file !
"The logon to account: ASPNET
by: MICROSOFT_AUTHENTICATION_PACKAGE_V1_0
from workstation: MHASQL
failed. The error code was: 3221225578"
and from the application log file
wuaueng.dll (1568) Log version stamp does not match database engine version stamp.

Obviously from your error code it seems like you authentication is failing on the password.
Are you using Integrated Windows Authentication on your Reports Folder?
Also check by doing the following
From Run : services.msc
right click on SQL Server Reporting Services --> Go to LogOn tab and see the values for the account information.

now i reinstall everything like reportservice and database now its working.
