In evaluating the performance of my SQL Server, I discovered over 100 connections, most of which show a status of SLEEPING. Quite a number of those appear to be un-released connections from some time ago. How can I release them from Query Analyzer or Enterprise Manager?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you, Mark, for the response to my question. I am unsure, though, how or where to run KILL SPID. Can you further point me in the right direction.
THANKS again.

The connections are not active and, therefor, nothing you really need to worry about.
