How to pick only the first match in a inner join in SSIS

  • True, so first you would have to have the rowset sorted by some other, meaningful criteria. For example if there are three employees with the same manager_id, you could sort them first by name, and then run another sort transform, by manager_id, removing duplicates. Employee with 'lowest' name value would come through the second sort transform.
