How to pass parameters dynamically into lastperiod() in MDX

  I need to pass the year and qtr as parameter at runtime into lastperiod() in OLAP report on SSRS 2005, is it possible or not.

  If you have any idea to pass the parameters dynamically, please guide me to solve my issue.

  LastPeriods(5,[Time].[Fiscal].[Fiscal Year].&[2009].&[2])

  Hi Will

  I think my problem is different, i saw that link in the earlier.

  I have one data set 1with ast periods() and another data set2 with year and qtr etc...

  in the OLAP as Data soruce.

  I need to pass the data set 2 year and qtr values as parameters into dataset 1 (last periods() )

  in SSRS 2005 .

  I hope this is clear ...
