how to move masterdatabase ldf and mdf files from one drive to another drive.so plz send me document by using steps.

1. goto sql server configuration manager
2.goto "sql server 2005 services" then rightclick on sql service goto properties
3.in that go in advanced tab there u will find Startup parameter option in that change the location for the master.mdf and mastlog.ldf file to the desired location (new location)
4.click ok
5.Stop service for sql.
6. move master .mdf and .ldf files to new location.
7.start the service.

Oh dear me no.
On SQL Server 2005, the master and resource databases must reside in the same location.
For full information see Moving System Databases on MSDN. Be sure to read the 'moving the master and Resource databases' section and follow the steps extremely carefully.
