Hi,
Is there any inbuilt procedure exist to monitor a database in SQL Server 2005? or How to monitor a database? Or is there good third party tool exist.
It is very help full to me if you provided the details.

Monitoring can be a wide subject, sicne there is a lot of different things you might want to review.
redgate, the website sponsor/owner, provides some free reports you can add to your SQL Server Reporting Services:

if you search for "SQL Server Monitoring" and "SQL Server Health", you'll find a lot of applications, mostly web based, that can produce some really nice reports and statistics about your servers. some are free, some are limited in order to entice you to buy the full suite, but it's certainly a start.
