  • Man, you're on a role with all these questions... and most of them are so general in nature that it's not possible to give a decent answer. For example... what KIND of download and from what type of system? Web site, FTP, remote directory, or what???

I'm pretty sure that you have access to Google... you should do some of your own research instead of us trying to figure out what you actually want on generic questions.

  • Sure - generic question, generic answer.. Try zipping it, whatever 'it' is!

  • Buy more bandwidth.

And provide more detail when you ask a question.

  • Before you can say 'faster' you have to quantify what is slow.

  • Or you could download a smaller file from a faster source with fewer traffic from a system using a faster connection on the second Monday of the month. :w00t:

I gotta say - where are "we" going with this? sounds like you're prepping a quiz, an interview process, you're looking for a job, you're doing homework, or something in that line....What's up?

I mean - I don't mind answering generic questions once in a while, but it'd be nice to have some disclosure, should we happen to come across these questions in some testing facility.....
