Hi Experts,
We have a SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition Installed with Replication having Service pack 2 on main server(Publication & distributor) & Service pack 1 on replicated server, below is the output of @@Version commans
Server 1
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.2055 (Intel X86) Dec 16 2008 19:46:53 Copyright (c) 1988-2003 Microsoft Corporation Standard Edition on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2)
Server 2
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.2039 (Intel X86) May 3 2005 23:18:38 Copyright (c) 1988-2003 Microsoft Corporation Standard Edition on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 1)
Our requirement is to install latest service packs on both these severs, since I am new to this so I have a question
1) Which service pack do we need to install on both servers?
2) How to Install service pack? I mean any guidelines!
3) If any error comes while installing, How to rollback the installation?
any help on this is realy great for me!
Thanks,
