You would need a book for that, not a forum question.

If you want short articles, I'd suggest doing a search in the Search box near the top of the screen here. There are a ton of articles on how to use indexes, right here on SQL Server Central. You could also swing by Gail Shaw's web site, SQL In the Wild[/url].
