How to import Column Description from Access DB to Sql Server 2008 for all tables in a DB?

    Hi,

    We are migrating from Access DB (which were originally created in Access 97) to Sql Server 2008. I used SSMA to migrate and import tables, but it did not import column description from Access...Is there any way to automate it instead of copying and pasting manually? There are hundred's of tables so it will be a big pain and time consuming.

    Any help appreciated. Thanks!

    I just tried the SQL Server Import-/Export-Wizard (right click database -> Tasks -> Import Data...) with a Access2007 database - I don't have Access97. Seems to work fine. If you select a table to be copied you can select "Edit Mappings" to validate the mappings.
