How to get started with freelancing database projects ?

    Hi Experts,

    Need your advice on this.

    I wanted to do some Freelancing for Database projects for database administration, converting DTS to SSIS packages, upgrades and migrations. This way I can work from home and can spend some time with my family.

    How do I get started with freelancing? How to get such projects?

    Could anyone please guide me on this? Are there any sites for this?

    To be honest, I try not to spend too much time trying to scare up work. Contact a couple of reputable recruiters and let them scare up the work for you. Be VERY clear in the type of work you want to take on and be VERY clear to set expectations as to the SLA.

    After a year or two and (of course) depending on how well you perform, work will start to happen all by itself.

    Caveat: I have never used the above site, but looking at the project offers it would seem that is what the OP is requiring.
