How can i check whether "Microsoft visual source safe" is installed or not on my machine??
I have Microsoft visual studio 2005,2008 already installed on my machine. does visual source safe come along with visual studio ?? or shall i have to install it separately ??
I googled this but not got any credible answers, so i came here!!

Look in control panel Add / Remove programs.
Is it listed?
of course no-one uses VSS, so are you sure you want to?

You can also check at Start->All Programs to see if SourceSafe is installed. SourceSafe is included with Visual Studio 2005 Team System editions, but is not included with Visual Studio 2008 Team System.
